Breath of Life’s American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) Course is designed to provide healthcare professionals the ability to recognize many life- threatening emergencies, as well as provide CPR for adults, children, and infants, use of an AED, and rescue choking victims. The course is intended for both certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals. Our courses teach high-quality CPR training for adults, children and infants as outlined by the AHA guidelines from early intervention through the post-resuscitation period. Additionally, hands-on training is provided using state of the art equipment such as the D.A.R.T. Sim ecg simulator with various realistic case scenarios, use of AED (automated external defibrillator), providing adequate ventilation through various barrier devices and real time performance feedback. As well as instruction on how to identify, assess and remove foreign-body airway obstructions for adults and infants.
